Complete, original unopened wax box of 1981-1982 Topps basketball "East" variety. The box contains 36 wax packs with each pack containing 13 cards for a total of 468 cards. The 1981-1982 Topps set includes the rookie card of Kevin McHale (only available in the "East" boxes), as well as second-year cards of Hall of Famers Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. In addition to the "East" boxes offering exclusive access to the McHale rookie, the same is true for the Larry Bird #101 Super Action card. This box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The store display box is bright and bold with moderate shelf wear, including a bit of creasing and a split seam on the back panel.
