Description

Graded EX 5 by PSA. Beautiful example of Philadelphia Athletics Hall of Famer Chief Bender from the legendary 1914 Cracker Jack series, in exceptionally high grade. Only two examples have been graded higher by PSA to date. The offered card has a bold red background, light corner wear, and virtually no caramel staining, almost unheard of for 1914 #144 Series Cracker Jack cards. There is a small crease above the bottom-right corner noted for accuracy. This is a strong example from this classic set that would make an outstanding addition to any high-quality 1914 Cracker Jack set or prewar-card collection.
