Graded GOOD+ 2.5 by SGC. Modestly graded example of Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson from the legendary 1952 Topps issue. In addition to being one of the key cards to this classic set and one of the most famous of all postwar cards, Robinson's 1952 Topps card is part of the rare high-number series (although his card was double-printed and is slightly more available than others from the same series). This example has a bold red background, a crisp image, and even corner wear. Light staining is visible along the edges of the reverse. Downgraded largely due to a few creases and light surface wear on front. Frequently overshadowed by the #311 Mantle from the same set (also a high-number series card and also double-printed), #312 Robinson is one of the few cards that defines the 1952 Topps set for collectors. Robinson is also one of the few Hall of Famers found in the high-number series. This is a very presentable example.
