Description

Graded EX/NM 80 by SGC. This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher! Extremely rare card of 1911 T217 Mono Cigarettes featuring Chet Chadbourn of the Portland Beavers. The reverse of the card has the Mono Cigarettes advertisement in bold blue printing. The 25-card T217 Mono Cigarettes set is one of the rarest of all Pacific Coast League issues and also one of the rarest of all 1910-era tobacco-card issues. The card is well centered, with a bold image, and light corner wear. The back is clean and crisp. This is a rarely offered sample card worthy of even the most advanced prewar-card or type-card collection.
