Description

Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Rarely offered example of #26 Michael Jordan (Chicago Bulls) from the 1984-1985 Star Company Basketball "Court Kings 5x7" series. This card was issued as part of a 50-card set produced by the Star Company. It predates Jordan's 1986-1987 Fleer rookie card by a full two years and features one of his first appearances on a trading card. Due to the larger size, method of issue in a bag, and lack of appropriate storage for cards of this size in the era of issue, the card is often found with chipping to the fragile blue borders and corners. The offered example features superb image quality, excellent centering, and minimal chipping to the borders and corners. There is a tiny surface flaw along the bottom border of the reverse. This is a very attractive example of one of Michael Jordan's earliest cards.
