Collection of 34 official Hall of Fame Induction press pins and 29 "retroactive" Hall of Fame Induction press pins, for a total of 63. The Baseball Hall of Fame first began issuing press pins for its annual induction ceremonies in 1982, and the practice continues to this day. The modern-day retroactive pins commemorate Hall of Fame induction years before 1982. Despite their relatively recent production, the retroactive pins were issued in limited numbers and are highly collectible today. The pins range from Excellent to Near Mint condition overall, and they all feature threaded or needle post backs, which are complete with their original fasteners. The corresponding years that the modern pins commemorate are noted in parentheses.
