Description

Program issued for the 1946 game between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Army Black Knights at Yankee Stadium on November 9th. Hailed the "Game of the Century", the 33rd all-time meeting between these ancient rivals matched the nation's top two teams and ended in a 0-0 tie. While both teams finished the season undefeated, Notre Dame ultimately edged Army for the number one ranking and was named National Champion by the Associated Press. The program (9 x 12 inches) displays a few tiny moisture stains on the front cover and light creasing. Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
