Graded NM 7 by PSA. Beautiful gray-back variety of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle's 1956 Topps card. The 1956 Topps Mantle card is highly regarded by collectors on many counts. In addition to being a striking card with an exceptional design, this card dates from Mantle's Triple Crown season. This well-centered example has bold colors, outstanding registration, crisp white borders, and strong corners. The gray back is clean. This is the key card in the set and one of the cornerstones of a high-grade 1950s Mantle card collection or classic 1950s card collection. Awarded an MBA Silver Diamond by Mike Baker Authenticated for high-end eye appeal. A corresponding MBA sticker is affixed to the front of the holder.
