Description

Presented is a very attractive mixed-grade collection of 274 assorted 1952 Bowman baseball cards, highlighted by ten Hall of Famers, including Stan Musial, Pee Wee Reese, and Minnie Minoso (rookie). The collection includes 120 different cards (out of 252 in a set), with heavy duplication of some cards (up to seventeen examples of the same card). Condition is 54% Ex to Ex-Mt (including 3% Nr/Mt and many due solely to centering), 33% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 13% lesser. Keys: #5 Minoso RC (Vg-Ex+), 8 Reese (Pr due to tape on reverse), two 24 Furillo (Ex and Vg+), 33 McDougald RC (Vg-Ex+), 53 Ashburn (Ex-Mt), two 75 Kell (both Pr), 196 Musial (Pr-Fr), four 232 Slaughter (three Ex-Mt due to centering and Ex+), and two 252 Crosetti (Ex+ and Vg-Ex, both due mostly to centering). Total: 274 cards. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
