Description

Near-complete set (25/26) of 1948 New York Yankees Picture Pack cards, including Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra, and Phil Rizzuto. Missing only announcer Mel Allen for completion. (We have handled other near sets with just the Mel Allen missing, so it is likely that this set was distributed with and without Allen.) Condition ranges from Vg+ to Ex (averaging Vg-Ex). This near set consists of the following: Berra (Vg-Ex, HOF), Brown, Corriden, Crosetti, DiMaggio (Vg-Ex, HOF), Dressen, Drews, Embree, Gumpert, Harris (Vg-Ex, HOF), Henrich, Hiller, Johnson, Keller, Lindell, Lopat, Mapes, McQuinn, Niarhos, Page, Raschi, Reynolds, Rizzuto (Ex, HOF), Shea, and Stirnweiss. Also includes original mailing envelope in Good condition due to soiling and creasing. Total: 25 cards. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
