Eclectic collection of ten complete baseball sets (missing one card), spanning the years 1969 through 1982, highlighted by many Hall of Famers and stars. This is a fascinating group of unusual vintage cards, primarily composed of overlooked "oddball" issues. 1) 1969 Globe Imports Complete Set (52): Ranging from Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (averaging Nr/Mt), with a few lesser. The set is the plain-back version and is highlighted by Pete Rose and seventeen Hall of Famers, including Willie Mays, Ernie Banks, and Tom Seaver. 2) 1979 Topps Burger King New York Yankees Near-Complete Set (22/23): Condition ranges from Ex to Nr/Mt-Mt (averaging Ex-Mt+). Missing only #14 Bucky Dent for completion. Keys: #2 Munson (Nr/Mt+) and 21 Jackson (Ex). 3-6) Four 1979 Topps Comics Complete Sets (4 sets, 132 comics) Plus 30 Duplicates: Three of the sets consist of three 11-comic rolls. The fourth set (and the duplicates) consist of individual hand-cut comics. None of the comics appear to have been issued as a wrapper around bubble gum, as intended. Keys: Two #4 Rose (Nr/Mt+ and Ex+), two 6 Schmidt (both Ex-Mt, due mostly to centering), and two 15 Carlton (Ex-Mt and Ex+). 9) 1981 TCMA "The 1960's" Series 2 Complete Set (189): Condition ranges from Ex to Nr/Mt-Mt (averaging Ex-Mt+). 10) 1982 Big League Collectibles Diamond Classics I Complete Factory-Sealed Set (55 cards).
