Buffalo Bisons program issued for a game against the Montreal Royals during the 1946 season. The program is significant because it dates from Jackie Robinson's historic first season in organized baseball in the Independent League, when he played for the Royals. The preprinted lineups feature Robinson playing second base and batting second. Scored in pencil to record an 8-3 Montreal victory. The program (7 x 10 inches) exhibits moderate handling wear along with several edge chips and tears along the front cover. Good condition overall.
