Description

Pair of 1888 N76 Duke "Great Americans" cards originating from an advertising poster or premium album. During this era, card manufacturers often produced elaborate premium albums to accompany trading-card sets. It is not uncommon for enterprising youths to have neatly cut cards from those albums or posters as in almost all cases the depictions within mirror the final-issue cards. Each of these cards presents as hand-cut/trimmed on all four edges and is on thin paperstock with a blank back. The following conditions are irrespective of these characteristics. This pair consists of the following: Lincoln (Vg) and Washington (Gd/Vg). Total: 2 cards.
