Graded NM+ 7.5 by PSA. Outstanding example of Boston Braves Hall of Famer Rabbit Maranville from the classic 1915 Cracker Jack series. The offered card boasts a vibrant red background, clean white borders, and strong corners. The reverse is also bright and clean with crisp, bold black text. This card obviously originates from an original "factory set" obtained by mail directly from the company, as it is entirely absent of any hints of the caramel staining so frequently encountered with these cards. Cracker Jacks are universally recognized as one of the most highly prized and widely collected of all prewar sets. This is a particularly extraordinary high-grade 1915 Cracker Jack example of Rabbit Maranville from one of card collecting's most classic and popular sets.
