Montreal Expos home jersey worn by Hall of Fame outfielder Vladimir Guerreroduring the 2000 season. Accompanied by an individual LOA from Resolution Photomatching, which has conclusively matched the jersey to one worn by Guerrero during three specific games in the 2000 regular season. Resolution has photo-matched the offered jersey to games played on April 21 against the Milwaukee Brewers, May 14 against the Chicago Cubs, and June 25 against the Philadelphia Phillies. Not only did the Expos win all three games, but Guerrero homered in each one as well, including a two-home run effort against the Cubs on May 14. The white-knit pinstripe jersey is lettered "Expos" on the front and features the number "27" on the left breast and reverse. "Guerrero" is lettered on the reverse above the number. A Montreal Expos patch appears on the left sleeve, while a black twill number "9" memorial patch is affixed to the right sleeve. The memorial patch was a tribute to Montreal Canadiens legend Maurice Richard and was added to the Expos' uniform shortly after his passing in May 2000. Located on the left front tail are a "Russell Athletic" label and a size "48 size tag. Guerrero has inscribed the jersey to fellow countryman and Major Leaguer Raul Mondesi on the reverse. Penned in blue marker, Guerrero has inscribed "Para Mondesi/Vladamir Guerrero." The jersey is original as issued, with no alterations, and displays heavy wear, including a few dirt stains. Guerrero enjoyed one of the finest campaigns of his career in 2000, finishing the year with 44 home runs, 123 RBI, and a .345 average. Those numbers not only propelled him to a second consecutive All-Star appearance and Silver Slugger award, but also helped Guerrero finish sixth in the National League MVP voting at season's end.
