Presented is a trio of Boston Red Sox scorecards spanning the seasons 1905 to 1920, highlighted by Babe Ruth featured in the lineup on the 1917 program. This collection consists of the following. 1) 1905 scorecard issued for a game against the Chicago White Sox. The preprinted lineups are highlighted by Collins, Stahl, and Parent for Boston and Walsh, Davis, Jones, and Isbell for Chicago. The program (6 x 8.75 inches) has been neatly scored in pencil. The interior pages have completely detached from the covers, several tears can be seen throughout (including on the scoring pages, which have torn entirely and been taped together), and heavy staining can been seen on all pages. In Poor condition overall. 2) 1917 scorecard issued for a game against the New York Yankees. Alternate team lineups have been pasted into the program. The preprinted lineups include Ruth, Hooper, Barry, Hoblitzell, Shore, and Mays for Boston and Baker, Maisel, Pipp, Peckinpaugh, and Caldwell for New York. Neatly scored in pencil. The scorecard's pages, while all completely detached from the spine, are present. The Score "New York 3" and "Boston 2" and "Wednesday, June 20/17" can be seen written on the front cover. The program (6.75 x 10 inches) displays tape repairs on the spine, has several chips of paper missing, a few creases can be seen, as well as several tears. In Poor condition overall. 3) 1920 scorecard issued for a game against the St. Louis Browns. The preprinted lineups include Hooper, McInnis, Schang, and Pennock for Boston and Sisler for St. Louis. Unscored. A portion of the program (6.75 x 10 inches) displays a section of the covers and all interior pages that have been cut out along the top edge, heavy water staining is visible near the top of all pages, and pencil writing is visible on the front cover.
