1926 W512 Uncut Strip-Card Sheet (25 Cards) Including Ty Cobb, Grover Alexander, Charlie Chaplin, and, Jack Dempsey

Attractive uncut sheet from the classic 1926 W512 strip issue, highlighted by Ty Cobb and several stars of sport and film. The uncut sheet of twenty-five cards features five baseball players (#1-5) in the top row, including Hall of Famers Dave Bancroft, Grover Alexander, Cobb, and Tris Speaker. The balance of the sheet features cards of other sporting stars (including Charlie Chaplin and Jack Dempsey). Cobb is situated in the middle of the top row and is technically in Pr condition due to a tear along the top edge that has been repaired by clear tape on the reverse. The sheet (7 x 11-1/4 inches) has vibrant colors and virtually flawless registration. The sheet grades modestly due to the aforementioned tear and three chipped corners. This is still a very presentable W512 "strip-card" sheet in its original uncut form, featuring Ty Cobb and other highlights.
