Circa 1930s Jimmie Foxx Original George Burke Photograph PSA/DNA Type I - Image Used For 1950-1956 Callahan Hall of Fame Card

Original photo of Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame first baseman Jimmie Foxx taken by noted baseball photographer George Burke. Encapsulated and certified by PSA/DNA as an original Type I Burke photograph. Foxx's name (typed), Burke's credit stamp, and a stray pencil mark appear on the reverse. It is interesting to note that this particular image on the offered photo was used in the production of Foxx's 1950-1956 Callahan Hall of Fame card. Photos used in the production of trading cards have become increasingly popular in recent years. The photo (4 x 6 inches) is in Excellent condition overall.
