Circa 1909 Red Murray Original Pictorial News Photograph PSA/DNA Type I - Image Used for 1910 E125 Card

Original photo of Red Murray used in the production of Murray's 1910 E125 card. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type 1 photograph by PSA/DNA. Murray is captured in his New York Giants uniform, warming up on the sideline. Photos used in the production of trading cards have become increasingly popular in recent years. This is one of only a small number of vintage photos we have seen featuring a player image used in the E125 series. A "Pictorial News Co." credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with three pieces of adhesive residue and Murray's name written in black ink. The photo (7.5 x 9.25 inches), which has been trimmed to its current dimensions, exhibits heavy creasing, multiple small spots of paper loss, and a tear along the bottom edge. Technically in Poor condition overall, but with far superior visual appeal.
