Graded NM-MT+ 8.5 by PSA. Only nine examples grade higher out of more than 350 cards evaluated by PSA to date. Outstanding example of Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan from the 1971 O-Pee-Chee baseball issue. 1971 O-Pee-Chee is nearly identical in design to the regular-issue Topps cards, but the reverse is printed in yellow with the text in French and English (#1-523), or entirely in English (high-number series only). Scarcely encountered in high grade, the offered example is bright and crisp with strong corners and minimal wear on the delicate black borders. Clean reverse. This is an exceptional high-grade example.
