Circa 1930s Lafayette Thompson Original Charles Conlon Photograph PSA/DNA Type I - Image Used for 1933 Goudey Card!

Original photo of Lafayette Thompson as a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers in a swing-through pose taken by noted baseball photographer Charles Conlon, circa 1930s. Encapsulated and certified by PSA/DNA as an original Type I Conlon photograph. It is interesting to note that this particular image on the offered photo was used in the production of Thompson's 1933 Goudey card. Photos used in the production of trading cards have become increasingly popular in recent years, especially from landmark sets like 1933 Goudey. Both Thompson's and Conlon's names are written in pencil on the reverse. The photo, which has been trimmed to its current dimensions of 6.5 x 8.5 inches, is in Excellent condition overall.
