Circa 1893 Pifer & Becker Cabinet Phil Knell PSA VG 3 (MK)

Graded VG 3 (MK) by PSA. Extraordinary cabinet photo of catcher Phil Knell produced by the Pifer & Becker Studio of Cleveland. The photograph captures Knell in uniform as he poses in a formal studio setting as a member of the Cleveland Spiders. The photographer's credit, "Pifer & Becker - Cleveland, Ohio," appears both on the base of the mount and reverse. The cabinet card (4.25 x 6.5 inches) has the name "CM Hastings" written in pencil on the upper-left reverse corner (misidentified as another player), as well as minor handling and surface wear.
