Extremely rare on-site boxing poster issued for the heavyweight title bout between Rocky Marciano and Archie Moore held at Yankee Stadium in New York on September 21, 1955. This bout marked the last professional fight of Marciano's career, with him knocking out the challenger in the ninth round, ending with an undefeated record of 49-0. Incredibly, this is the first example of this on-site poster we have ever offered. The poster (28.25 x 22.5 inches) has been linen-backed and benefited from professional restoration, mainly to tears along the top edge. Excellent in its overall appearance.
