1954 Rocky Marciano vs. Ezzard Charles World Heavyweight Championship On-Site Fight Poster

Extremely rare on-site boxing poster issued for the heavyweight title bout between Rocky Marciano and Ezzard Charles held at Yankee Stadium in New York on June 17, 1954. This was the first of two title bouts between the fighters in 1954, with Marciano earning a unanimous decision over Charles. Incredibly, this is the first example of this on-site poster we have ever offered. The poster (28.25 x 22.25 inches) has been linen-backed and benefited from professional restoration, mainly to fold lines and creases. Excellent in its overall appearance.
