1961 Tony Alongi vs. Attilio Tondo On-Site Fight Poster - Rocky Marciano's Protege!

Rare on-site boxing poster issued for the heavyweight bout between Tony Alongi and Attilio Tondo held at State Garden in Union City on September 27, 1961. Tony Alongi was a promising young heavyweight boxer in the early 1960s who caught the eye of legendary trainer Charley Goldman (former heavyweight champion Rocky Marciano's trainer). The poster (28 x 22 inches), which is printed on cardboard, displays light creasing, a tiny tear on the left edge, minor staining along the lower portion, and a black ink notation in the lower left corner.
