Circa 1947 Babe Ruth Single-Signed Baseball - PSA/DNA EX-MT 6 (Signature Grade)

Official American League baseball (Harridge) signed in blue fountain pen by Babe Ruth upon a side panel. Ruth has inscribed the ball "To Susan Felkner / From / Babe Ruth," with a portion of his salutation extending into the sweet spot. Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA/DNA (signature grade). The manufacturer stampings of the baseball are slightly faded but still legible. The date "7/25/47" is written on a side panel in an unknown hand. Research indicates that on this date Babe Ruth made a guest appearance at a luncheon hosted by the Ford Motor Company (Ruth was a paid spokesperson), held at the Jefferson Davis Hotel in Montgomery, Alabama. The ball has minor toning and a few areas of light, scattered discoloration. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
