Description

Pair of official lineup cards presented to home plate umpire Jerry Neudecker for Game 1 of the 1979 World Series between the Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates at Memorial Stadium. Each lineup card is signed along the base by the team's respective manager (Earl Weaver for Baltimore and Chuck Tanner for Pittsburgh). The Orioles scored all five of their runs in a first-inning outburst and held on the rest of the way for a 5-4 victory in Game 1. The lineup cards, both dated "10/10/'79" in the upper right, display multiple folds as a result of being stored in Neudecker's pocket. However, the writing remains crisp and fold. Very Good condition overall. Total: 2 lineup cards. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
