1911 Jones, Keyser & Arras #346 Honus Wagner SGC POOR 1

Presented is legendary Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Famer Honus Wagner, one of the key cards from the extremely rare cabinet-card set issued in 1911 by Jones, Keyser & Arras Studios of New York City. Little is known about exactly how this unusual and remarkably high quality set was issued. Each card in the set has a mounted sepia-toned photograph on the front and the studio’s name and address in the lower left on the reverse. This one of the rarest of all Honus Wagner cards. Even a type card from this set is extremely rare. This example presents with a strong photograph and is graded POOR 1 by SGC due to chipping in the top two corners along with multiple tack holes around the edges (common to this issue). One of the most striking and substantial of all Honus Wagner cards, this is only the third 1911 Jones, Keyser & Arras Wagner that we have offered in the past twenty years.
