1985 Nike Basketball Michael Jordan Rookie Promo PSA GEM MINT 10 (MBA Black Diamond) - The Only Gem Mint/Black Diamond Combination!

Remarkable example of Michael Jordan's rookie promo from the 1985 Nike Basketball "Sport Cards" series. Graded GEM MINT 10 by PSA. Awarded an MBA Black Diamond by Mike Baker Authenticated for high-end eye appeal at the top 1% level of all known examples. A corresponding MBA sticker is affixed to the front of the holder. Nike issued five postcard-size “Sport Cards” in 1985 to promote the company's products. Customers at the time were given shrink-wrapped sets of the cards, topped by a title card. The players featured in the set are Dwight Gooden, James Lofton, John McEnroe, Lance Parrish, and, most significantly, Michael Jordan (issued during his rookie season). The Jordan card from this issue has become overwhelmingly popular in recent years as collectors search for high-grade examples of this condition-sensitive issue. This incredible gem presents with four sharp corners, brilliant colors, and a flawless surface. The reverse is perfectly clean. This is a tremendous example in exceptional condition of one of Michael Jordan's earliest cards.
