1938 Babe Ruth Twice-Signed Check PSA/DNA NM-MT 8

Babe Ruth personal check, dated June 2, 1938, signed twice by Babe Ruth. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the check and graded the signatures NM-MT 8. The check, drawn on the Chemical Bank & Trust Company of New York, is made out to "Cash" in the amount of $50.00. Signed "G. H. Ruth" in black fountain pen on the front, and again on the reverse as an endorsement. Ruth's preprinted name appears along the left border. Babe Ruth personal checks have long been a favorite of autograph collectors due to their inherent authenticity. The offered example is particularly exceptional because of the multiple Ruth signatures. The check (8.5 x 3.75 inches), which displays bank cancellation stamps and holes, displays a vertical fold, a spindle hole, and a small stain in the lower right corner. In Very Good condition overall.
