1952 Rocky Marciano Training with Rock Original United Press Photograph PSA/DNA Type I

Original news photo capturing Rocky Marciano lifting a huge rock above his head as he prepares for his fight against heavyweight Harry Matthews to be held at Yankee Stadium on July 28, 1952. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. The reverse displays a "United Press Association" credit stamp and the original paper news caption dated "7/16/52." A second credit stamp ("The Ring") appears in red ink as well. The photo (7-1/8 x 9 inches) displays a few light creases and is in Excellent condition overall.
