Williams' rookie card is the key to the 1939 Play Ball set and one of the most popular and significant of all postwar baseball cards. The card displays strong corners, excellent centering, and a clear image of the "Splendid Splinter" in his familiar swing-through pose. The reverse of the card is clean and boldly printed.
