Circa 1940s Babe Ruth Original International News Photograph PSA/DNA Type I

Original news photo capturing Babe Ruth in the hospital, circa 1940s. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. The photo pictures Ruth getting his injured right hand taped by the doctor while a nurse in the background stares into the camera. An "International News Photo" credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with remnants of paper from the original paper news caption (no longer affixed). The photo (8.5 x 6.5 inches) has light creases and a few pinholes in the upper-left corner. In Very Good condition overall.
