Description

December 2, 1922 program from the third annual Army vs. Marines football game. The match-up was the inaugural event held at Baltimore Stadium, later known as Memorial Stadium which eventually became home to the Baltimore Orioles, Colts, and Ravens. The game saw the Marines defeat Army by a score of 13-12. The incredibly detailed program dedicates many pages to several important U.S. Military personnel as well as local government officials. The string-bound 92-page program (8 x 11 inches) displays scattered creasing, a few minor tears (including one near the spine on the front cover), and is missing about 1/4 of an interior page that appears to have been cut-out (likely as someone removing an advertisement). In Very Good condition overall.
