Presented is an oversized full ticket for the July 15, 1999 game between the Seattle Mariners and the visiting San Diego Padres. The game was the inaugural contest at Safeco Field in Seattle and interestingly, the first Mariners game after the 1999 All-Star break. The Mariners played their home games for first half of the 1999 season at the Kingdome, which was demolished in 2000. The Mariners, led by future Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr., would fall to the Padres by a score of 3-2. The oversized full ticket (5.25 x 12 inches) depicts the new stadium in a scene with iconic Seattle area landmarks, including the Space Needle, Mt. Rainer, sailboats and a cruise ship in the Elliott Bay, and several downtown skyscrapers. A few minor creases are visible on the reverse of the ticket, which also displays minor corner wear. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
