Alex Rodriguez Rawlings block-letter (full name) model ("460B") bat dating from the 1999 season. Rodriguez has personally attested to its game use by inscribing the barrel in silver paint pen: "Alex Rodriguez/99 Game Used." Also accompanied by a COA, issued by Mill Creek Sports, signed by Rodriguez. The bat, which is not cracked, displays heavy use along its entire length, including ball marks (with blue-ink transfers and white scuffs), ball-stitch impressions, checking (grain separation from repeated contact) on the back of the barrel, and pine tar on the upper handle. The model number ("460B"), the batch code ("666"), and the year code ("99") are all stamped on the knob. Rodriguez was in just his fourth full season with the Seattle Mariners in 1999, but he had already established himself as one of the top players in the game, as evidenced by his 42 home runs, 111 RBI, and .285 batting average that season. One of only nine players to hit over 600 home runs in his career, Rodriguez retired in 2016 with 696 home runs (fourth best all time), 2,086 RBI (fourth best all time) and a .295 lifetime average. Length: 34 inches. Weight: 30.3 ounces. LOA from Alex Rodriguez. Basic certification from PSA/DNA for the signature only.
