Graded EX 5 by SGC. This is the ONLY example graded at this level by SGC with none higher! Beautiful example of Hall of Fame pitcher Eddie Plank from the rare and highly regarded PC796 sepia postcard set issued in 1910. The manufacturer of this sepia-toned postcard series is unknown. The PC796 set is one of the most striking sets of the era, and Plank is considered by many collectors to be one of the most difficult cards in the entire 25-card series. The offered card is bright and crisp with even corner wear. The card has never been mailed and has no writing on its traditional postcard reverse. Dimensions: 3.5 x 5.5 inches.
