Graded VG/EX 50 by SGC. Outstanding example of Hall of Famer Frank Chance (Chicago Cubs) from the rare and highly regarded PC796 sepia postcard set issued in 1910. The manufacturer of this sepia-toned postcard series is unknown. The PC796 set is one of the most striking sets of the era. The card is bright and crisp with even corner wear. There are a pair of small creases above the bottom-right corner. The card has never been mailed and has no writing on its traditional postcard reverse. This is an exceptionally rare and impressive card of one of the era's most legendary stars.
