Complete 326-card master set of 1955 Bowman highlighted by many Hall of Famers, including Mantle, Aaron, Mays, Kaline, and Banks, as well as all six variation cards (#48, 101, 132, 157, 195, and 204). Condition is 6% Nr/Mt, 16% Ex-Mt, 21% Ex, 44% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 13% lesser (including nineteen that measure small). We have selected three cards for grading and encapsulation by PSA. The flush-to-the-border wood-grain design of this issue makes them very susceptible to corner and edge wear, and very difficult to assemble as a complete set in high grade. Attractive mid-grade sets of classic issues from the 1950s such as this always generate tremendous collector interest.
