Lot # 2845: Neil Armstrong Signed Photograph - JSA

Official NASA publicity photo signed in blue ink by Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon. Armstrong, as was his custom, has personalized the photo "To Samuel Andiman/Neil Armstrong." Of all the celebrated astronauts in American history, Armstrong remains the most famous. He was also a very reluctant signer during his lifetime, shunning numerous signing shows over the years. As a result, his signature is the rarest of the three Apollo 11 astronauts, not to mention the most coveted.
