Lot # 2843: 1969 Buzz Aldrin Apollo 11 Visor Original NASA Photograph PSA/DNA Type I

Striking original NASA photo of Buzz Aldrin during the famed 1969 Apollo 11 mission. Encapsulated and certified as an original type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Conducted by NASA, Apollo 11 was the first space mission to land men on the Moon. Aldrin is captured standing on the lunar surface in a picture taken by Apollo 11 commander Neil Armstrong. The reverse features several production-related notations and stampings along with a few stripes of mounted paper. The photo (8 x 10 inches) exhibits moderate corner wear and small surface wrinkles, which are largely confined to the borders. Very Good condition overall.
