Striking original NASA photo known as Earthrise during the 1968 Apollo 8 mission. Encapsulated and certified as an original type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Conducted by NASA, Apollo 8 was the first space mission to take humans to the Moon and back. Apollo 8 orbited the Moon 10 times during the mission. Taken by NASA astronaut Bill Anders, this shot captures the rising Earth. The reverse displays a NASA Credit stamp. The photo (8 x 10 inches) exhibits a few creases and is in Very Good condition overall. Accompanied by a full LOA from PSA/DNA.
