Presented is a partial set of 1933 R305 Tattoo Orbit cards composed of twenty-seven different of the sixty cards in the set, including four Hall of Famers. Each card has been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA (7) or SGC (20). SGC Grading Composite: NM 7 (1 card): Seeds (PSA). EX/MT+ 6.5 (1 card): Grimes (SGC 82, HOF). EX/MT 6 (1 card): Stephenson (PSA). EX+ 5.5 (3 cards): Tinning (SGC 70), Walberg (SGC 70), and P. Waner (PSA, HOF). EX 5 (3 cards): Dykes (PSA), Earnshaw, and Jurges (PSA). VG/EX+ 4.5 (4 cards): Andrews, Collins, Fonesca, and Johnson. VG/EX 4 (3 cards): Hartnett (PSA, HOF), Lyons (SGC 50, HOF), and Whitney. VG 3 (3 cards): Cissell, Clark (PSA), and Koenig. GOOD+ 2.5 (2 cards): Bartell (SGC 35) and Blaeholder. GOOD 2 (4 cards): Haas, Jolley, Reynolds, and Root. FAIR 1.5 (1 card): Warneke. Authentic (1 card): Porter/Altered. Their striking colors, unusual size (2 x 2.25 inches), and rarity compared to other 1930s sets make Tattoo Orbits one of the most fascinating, distinctive and difficult-to-complete of all sets from the 1930s. This classic 1930s gum-card set was issued by the Orbit Gum Co. of Chicago (a subsidiary of Wrigley’s) in 1933. This is an extremely attractive group of this unusual and extremely substantial 1930s gum issue, representing 45% of a complete set. Total: 27 cards.
