Lot # 852: Extremely Rare 1947-1966 Exhibits Checklist Featuring Joe DiMaggio

Impressive rare 1950 Checklist card (paper thin; removed from a machine header) from the 1947-1966 Exhibits baseball series featuring an image of Joe DiMaggio in the background. This is just the second of its kind that we have offered in the past 21 years (although we are aware of the existence of others). The card is bright and crisp with bold printing, light wear on the corners, and moderate creasing. There is evidence of glue residue on the blank back. This card has always been a special challenge for serious Exhibits completists. This is a very attractive example of this 1947-1966 Exhibits baseball rarity, which would make a significant contribution to the assembly of a complete master set.
