Description

Complete, original unopened vending box of 1971 Topps baseball containing approximately 500 cards from the second series (#133-263), which includes Hall of Famers Tom Seaver, Al Kaline, Rod Carew, and Johnny Bench. Any unopened material from 1971 Topps is extremely rare, and in our experience, it becomes available less than any other 1970s set. The black flush-to-the-border design of the 1971 Topps set makes this issue particularly challenging to collect in extremely high grade. This box originates directly from the estate of the legendary Larry Fritsch. It comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material) and bears his certified designation as having originated from the "Fritsch Vault." This is a very impressive unopened vending box with superb provenance. It would be a worthy addition to even the most advanced collection of 1971 Topps or unopened material.
