Offered is a collection of four 1959 Fleer "Ted Williams" uncut panels, each with fifteen different cards. Though rarely seen, uncut sections of various sizes do exist from the 1959 Fleer Ted Williams set, all of which were obviously long ago cut down from larger, full production sheets. (Interestingly, to the best of our knowledge, no full 1959 Fleer Ted Williams production sheets have survived.) All the cards on these panels are fully printed on the reverse, defining these as uncut final-issue cards. 1) 15-Card Uncut Panel: Measures 10-3/8 x 13-1/8 inches and features cards #2 Williams/Ruth, 13, 15, 17, 30, 32, 34, 45, 47, 49, 62, 64, 66, 77, and 79. 2) 15-Card Uncut Panel: Measures 10-3/8 x 13-1/8 inches and features cards #6, 8, 10, 21, 23, 25, 38, 40, 42 Williams/Yawkey, 53, 55 Cronin/Williams, 57, 70 Williams/Thorpe, 72, and 74. 3) 15-Card Uncut Panel: Measures 10-3/8 x 13-1/8 inches and features cards #9 Williams/Collins, 11 Foxx/Williams, 13, 26, 28, 30, 41, 43, 45, 58, 60, 62, 73, 75 Collins/Ruth/Williams, and 77. 4) 15-Card Uncut Panel: Measures 10-1/2 x 13-1/8 inches and features cards #12, 14, 16, 27, 29, 31, 44, 46, 48, 59, 61, 63, 76, 78, and 80. Each panel is bright, crisp, and clean, both front and back, with light creasing and even corner wear. The panels have an overall Good to Very Good appearance and would be ideal for display and framing. This is an impressive group of panels from one of the most popular of all 1950s issues, which would be worthy additions to any Ted Williams, uncut sheet, or postwar-baseball collection. Total: 4 panels featuring 60 cards.
