Lot # 287: 1909-1911 T206 White Border Clark Griffith Batting PSA GOOD 2 - Black Lenox Back

Graded GOOD 2 by PSA (submitted by REA). One of only two examples of this front/back combination graded by PSA. Presented is a very rare example of Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer Clark Griffith (batting) from the classic T206 set with an extremely desirable Lenox advertising reverse. According to T206Resource.com, Lenox ranks as the eighth most difficult advertising back (out of thirty-nine) to find. The offered card features vibrant colors, a crisp image, honest corner wear, and centering toward the top. The important Lenox advertising reverse is boldly printed and displays some light soiling. This is a remarkable Hall of Fame example featuring a rare Lenox back, and one that would be a highlight in any Hall of Fame, T206, or rare-back collection.
