Lot # 1080: Signed 1953 Topps #27 Roy Campanella - BVG/JSA - Vintage Pre-Accident Signature

1953 Topps Roy Campanella card #27 signed by him on the front (vintage pre-accident signature). BVG/JSA (Beckett/James Spence) has encapsulated the card and certified the signature as "Authentic." Campanella's signature has been scripted in blue ink. This is just the second signed example of this particular card we have ever offered. A piece of clear tape has been affixed atop the signature, a practice back in the day to preserve an autograph. The card displays a crisp image and bold colors. In apparent Good condition overall.
