Lot # 2006: 1978-1979 Topps Basketball Unopened Vending Box - BBCE and Ex-Fritsch

Complete, original unopened vending box of 1978-1979 Topps basketball containing approximately 500 cards from this popular set. This box originates directly from the estate of the legendary Larry Fritsch. It comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material) and bears his certified designation as having originated from the "Fritsch Vault." The set features rookie cards of Hall of Famers Dennis Johnson and Bernard King as well as numerous other stars and Hall of Famers, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Pete Maravich, and Julius Erving. The box displays beautifully. This is a very impressive unopened vending box with superb provenance.
