Graded GOOD 2 by SGC. Extremely desirable N300 Mayo's Cut Plug of Hall of Famer Buck Ewing with Cleveland. Ewing's Mayo Cut Plug card was first issued with "Cleveland" on his shirt in 1894, which was later changed to "Cincinnati" when he joined the Reds for the 1895 season. This is the first-issued "Cleveland" variation. The card presents with light soiling on the front, rounding to the corners, and centering to the right. The blank reverse has a small spot of paper residue affixed to the upper left quadrant. This is a very presentable example of one of the most important cards in the Mayo set of key Hall of Famer Buck Ewing.
